-Study nouns: test on 12/18. Memorize these noun types:

-Use the category codes above to classify each of the nouns in Exercise 7, on page 199 in your Brown Grammar book.  For full credit, please write out the sentences, list the nouns underneath, and use numbers next to each noun to describe all the different categories each noun falls into.

***As you are waiting for your computer to load, carefully read “The Alternate Speaker” as you will be writing about this story today using the computer.

1. Log in to the computer: ID, Password=birthday, STU, blue internet light, no dial-up (gross!)

2. Use Mozilla Firefox

6. Click on the “Assignments” button

7. Click on the “Start” button next to “Theme in Literature”

Read through the prompt carefully and think about the writing we have done

8. Use the dropdown menu under “Prewrite” to choose a graphic organizer

9. Fill out a graphic organizer

10. Begin typing your essay, remembering to use all of the skills you have learned.

11. Do not hit the “Submit” button at the bottom of your screen, please click on “Save and finish later” every ten minutes or so…

12.  Click on “Resume” and finish writing
