ROAR: Reward of All Readers
Reward of All Readers, or ROAR, is an exciting program designed to promote reading for junior high school students. The gift of reading is consistently ranked as one of the most important skill sets for success in jobs and academics. To celebrate our student’s success in reading, Aptos Junior High School hosts a prize giveaway of items generously donated by community members and businesses at the end of each academic year. Past prizes have included computers, IPods, surfboards and clothing. Students are thrilled to discover the generous support of the community while obtaining the essential skill of reading.
We are seeking tax deductable donations of prizes, or monetary donations to purchase items, suitable for students between the ages of twelve and fifteen years of age.
