The Aptos Junior High school office will reopen on July 18, 2022. Registration takes place in one of these ways:
1. For incoming 7th graders currently attending a PVUSD elementary that feeds into AJHS, please be sure to fill out the registration packet that was distributed by your current school. These registration packets were distributed during second semester and should have been turned into AJHS.  (If you did not receive a packet you can pick one up after July 18, 2022 from the main office.)
 
2. For PVUSD-resident 7th or 8th grade students wishing to enroll at AJHS from outside the standard attendance area, an intra-district transfer request must be submitted through the PVUSD Student Services Department. Please click here for a link to the form.
 
3. For 7th or 8th grade students wishing to enroll at AJHS from outside of PVUSD, an inter-district transfer request must be submitted through the PVUSD Student Services Department. Please click here for a link to the form. 
 
4. For 7th or 8th grade students who live within the AJHS attendance area and attend a private or charter school, but wish to enroll at AJHS, please contact our registrar Mr. Rafael Arce for more information. He can be emailed at rafael_arce@pvusd.net

Monday, August 8 - 3pm - 6:30pm - 8th grade students only (unless there’s a 7th grade sibling)
Tuesday, August 9 - 3pm - 6:30pm - 7th grade students only
(These are windows of time - your student does not have to attend the entire time.)
 
As part of Sea Dragon Day you and your students will have an opportunity to …
  • Purchase AJHS PE clothes
  • Pay any fees and or make donations for particular classes and/clubs
  • Order AJHS Spirit wear including sweatshirts, shirts, sweat pants, hats, beanies, lanyards, and more... via our website.
  • Pick up your textbooks
  • Pick up your course schedule* - and request any essential schedule changes using the Google form provided
  • Review volunteer/parent involvement opportunities
 
 
Take a guided tour of the campus with our current Leadership Students (August 9th for 7th grade students only.) 
(*Please note that if you have not yet turned in your registration packet, your student’s schedule will not be available on Sea Dragon Day.  Please try to return the completed packet to the office no later than Friday, August 5. )
 
If you are unable to attend Sea Dragon Day, please do not come on a day stipulated for another grade level.  Instead, you can come to the front office any day Wednesday, August 10 - 12 to collect all these items (and as a last resort, your student can also come to the front office on the first day of school).
