Located at 3001 Valencia Ave in Aptos, just across the road from the school, The Palm Deli has been a longtime partner of AJHS. General Manager Marli Glaum has long supported AJHS and has donated free milkshake coupons for our PBIS program. Since Distance Learning began, we have been grateful for her increased contributions to help propel our PBIS recognition in support of our students. In addition to our students' favorite made from scratch milkshakes, The Palm provides delicious sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and an array of snacks and cold drinks. 

 

 

Our newest community partner, yet a long time favorite in Aptos, Aptos St. Barbeque offers the best smoked meats in the county, live music, and a great outdoor setting. Located at 8059 Aptos St, Aptos St. BBQ has donated dozens of free meal coupons to our PBIS program, and has hosted our sports teams at a discount for their end of season banquets. Highly recommend if you haven't been in yet!

 

Located at 253 Center Ave in Aptos near Seacliff State Beach, Pizza 1 is a recent supporter of AJHS. Owners Mike and Laurie Colombiani have graciously donated hundreds of free pizza slice coupons to the AJHS PBIS program. Pizza 1 makes a variety of delicious specialty pizzas. The consensus favorites of the AJHS staff are the Corralitos Market (gorgonzola cheese, sausage, apple and bacon!) and the Vegetarian (LOADED with fresh veggies). We look forward to a continuing partnership with this great local business.

 

 

A staple in Santa Cruz County for almost 50 years, Santa Cruz Skateboards and its parent company NHS Industries has long been supportive of local initiatives that benefit our local youth. A big thank you to Joel Ellis who has arranged for the delivery of some great donations that we will be distributing to our students as a part of our PBIS student recognition program.

 

Marianne's Ice Cream has been providing top notch treats to people in Santa Cruz county for years, and they have recently joined our team of community partners. Thanks Marianne's!
